All public health practice abstracts must follow this specific structure and include each section with clear headings:

1 Background and Challenges to Implementation

Identify the context and the specific challenges to programme implementation. Clearly describe the problem or barrier that your program aimed to address and why it was important to overcome.

2 Intervention/Program

Briefly describe the intervention or program. How were the identified challenges overcome? What specific strategies or approaches were implemented?

3 Methods

Describe the results and impact of the project. Explain the potential application or benefit to other programmes. Define what worked, what did not work and the evidence that led to this determination.

5 Conclusions/Implications

Describe the public health practice implications of the results and summarise key recommendations. Highlight opportunities for future programme practice and implications for other programmes or settings.
